| Young’s Creek -- small
stream, rises north of
Vittoria in Charlotteville Township, flows southeast to Lake Erie at Port
Ryerse in Woodhouse Township. Sometimes (erroneously) called Ryerse Creek.
The name "Young's Creek" predates Long Point Settlement of the
early 1790s; being found on some of the earliest maps of this area. |
