Hay -- J. Nelson Hay, 44, prominent businessman and former mayor of Listowel, son of late B. J. Hay, died 28 Mar 1915, the result of a stroke suffered in Jun 1913 on a Toronto golf course. A brother of Wellington Hay, he was half of Hay Bros., which owned a string of grain elevators in Western Ontario. Survived by wife and son. His wife was a daughter of B. F. Brook. Mr. F. J. Brook and H. B. Donly attended the funeral yesterday [obituary SR19150401p1]
