Mrs. A. B. Hayes

Mrs. Herbert L. Selby yesterday received word of the sudden death of her stepmother, Mrs. Aletia Bealton Hayes, formerly of Simcoe.

Deceased was 91 years of age, and had never had a serious illness in her long life until she suffered a stroke, dying earlier yesterday.

Her husband was the late Dr. James Hayes of Simcoe, and following his death in the early years of this century, she lived in Simcoe for some time, later removing to her old home city Buffalo.

She was the mother of two daughters, Emily, who was drowned in young womanhood, and Nora, Mrs. Smith, of Buffalo.

Mrs. Hayes' body will be brought to Simcoe in the spring and buried in the family plot in Oakwood.
