Wilson -- Pte. Hugh Wilson's (photo) parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson of Rockford have received official word that he has been seriously wounded by shrapnel to the leg. Pte. Wilson was wounded in Feb 1917 but recovered and returned to France, being wounded a second time. He is one of three brothers in khaki [SR19180822p3] -- Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson of Rockford, have received official word that the son, 797528, Pte. Hugh Wilson, of the 133rd Battalion, were seriously woulded again on 11 Aug 1918. No more particulars have yet been received. His brother Wilfred is now on his way returning overseas after spending a furlough of six months in Canada. Their brother John is still missing, now 17 months since reported. Their older step-brother is still somewhere in France [WS19180822p1]
