Underhill, Elnathan
(1760/1-1845) went with his father Bartow Underhill in the 1783 exodus from
New York to New Brunswick and married Hannah Brewer. In his later years,
Elnathan moved with his family to Norfolk County. Includes four generations
of descendants.
Upper,
Anthony (1820-1905) settled
in Townsend Township by 1844 and married Sarah Ann Smith a granddaughter of
Norfolk pioneer Abraham Smith. They settled later at Otisville, Michigan. Includes ancestry and three generations of descendants. Upper,
George A. (c. 1804-1892) and his wife Mary Stokes settled in Townsend Township
by 1844. Includes children and grandchildren
Uptegrove, Peter (c. 1776-) and his
wife Elizabeth came from New Jersey to Upper Canada by 1810. They settled
finally in Townsend Township. Includes children and grandchildren
