Eadie, William (1792-) came from Perthshire, Scotland and married Lucy Burtch. They settled in Mount Pleasant, Brantford Township, Brant County. Includes children and grandchildren in Norfolk and Brant Counties and elsewhere

Earle, John (1771-1845) came to Townsend Township about 1798/9 when he married Mary Averill, daughter of Waterford founder Paul Averill.  In 1804, he moved to Otterville, South Norwich Township, Oxford County, then about 1825, moved to Edwards, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Includes three generations of descendants in Norfolk and elsewhere.  Lewis Earle (c. 1798-1877) married Sarah Brown, daughter of Charlotteville pioneer Samuel Brown and settled in Charlotteville Township.  Includes three generations of descendants

Eddy, Charles (1755-1830) was born in Gloucester, Rhode Island and married Maranda King. In colonial times they lived at Wilbraham, Massachusetts. They settled in Oakland Township, Brant County. Charles was a cousin of Omri Edy. Includes four generations of descendants in Norfolk and Brant counties and elsewhere 

Edmonds, Mathew (est. 1760-) and his wife Hannah brought their family from New York to Upper Canada by 1826 and settled in Middleton Township. Their son Oliver  settled in Windham Township. Another possible son, George W. Edmonds also settled in Windham Township. Includes four generations of descendants

Edwards, Richard (1773-1863) brought his family from England to Charlotteville Township about 1818 and in 1822.  By 1825, he and his family settled in Lobo Township, Middlesex County.  Includes five generations in Middlesex and elsewhere

Edy, Omri (1780-1853) and his wife Mary Margaret Glover lived at Hawkesbury Township, Prescott County, Ontario and settled later in Oakland Township, Brant County. Omri was a cousin of Charles Eddy. Includes three generations of descendants in Norfolk and Brant counties and elsewhere

Ellis, Cornwall was a Loyalist in New Jersey during the American Revolution.  He came from the Susquehanna River Valley of New York to Walsingham Township in 1793. Includes three generations of descendants

Evans, Francis (c. 1801-1858) and his wife Maria Sophia came from Ireland to Woodhouse Township in 1828. Rev. Dr. Francis was Rector of St. John’s Anglican Church from his arrival until his passing. Another of this surname, relationship unknown, James Evans (c. 1793-1859) was a Lieutenant in the British Army and lived in Ireland and England then settled in Woodhouse Township by about 1835.
