Slaght -- One of the pioneers of Waterford and vicinity, Mr. Israel Slaght, 84, passed peacefully away 24 Oct 1914. He was at one time, a general merchant of Townsend Centre and afterwards in Waterford and has lived here and in this vicinity all his life. The deceased was a man of ability and well and favorably known by many friends [Waterford SR19141029p1]
