Mr. and Mrs. John Martin celebrated their silver wedding on Friday evening.

Ansley Kellum married Miss Edith Moore, 26 Dec 1900.

To the wife of Mr. Pitblado, nee Flo Walker, a daughter, 25 Dec 1901 [sic] at Dauphin, Manitoba.

Geo. W. Cox of Brantford married Miss Mary A. Fair of Townsend, 26 Dec 1900.

Mrs. Loder W. Schuyler of Townsend, 60, died 21 Dec 1900.

Townsend Council has been elected by acclamation. Reeve: J. R. Taylor. Councillors: A. R. Ewing, 
James Dunlop, Walter Mason and D. K. Shaw.

John D. Kitchen married Miss Pearl Walker of Townsend, 25 Dec 1900.

A new four dollar Canadian bill has been issued by the Government.

Arthur Bowlby was acclaimed Reeve of Waterford. Those in the field for Councillors: John Martin, Walter Tench, 
S. H. Cowdry, D. P. Caley, J. F. Kimball and 
George Doughty.

Mr. P. W. Emerick and family of Welland have moved to Tyrrell.

Miss Mary Elizabeth Crabbe, daughter of James Crabbe, married Mr. J. M. Fraser of Rexford, Pa. on 10 Oct 1900.

Dr. A. J. Goold was elected Worshipful Master of 
Wilson Lodge.

E. McKnight was elected Reeve of Windham. The Councillors are: H. Elliott, J. I. Millard and George Jull.

Herbert Slaght of Villa Nova married Miss Edith McDonald of Waterford, 29 Aug 1900.

Mr. and Mrs. George Swift of Boston celebrated their silver anniversary on New Year's Day.

Dr. David Nelles died 29 Dec 1900 in Toronto.

17 Jan 1901 -- Charles Arthur Pursel of Windham married Miss Susan A. Misner of Brantford, recently.

Mr. Sol. Munce was elected Noble Grand of 
Waterford Lodge, I.O.O.F.

John James Church, 92, died at his home in Vanessa,
