"Born at Rockford, Ont. Sept. 24th, 1862.  Attended school at Rockford and Tyrrell.  Came to Simcoe from Hagersville 25 years ago.  Has conducted photography studio here for many years.  Secretary-Treasurer No. 166, I.O.F., also F. S. No. 26, Order Canadian Home Circle."
