Another sister, Rebecca, eventually joined Noah in Charlotteville after her husband died in New Jersey. Noah was a farmer and the community blacksmith. He settled just south of Walsh, prospering primarily in real estate. Near the end of his life, Noah was among the most heavily taxed residents of Charlotteville with land holdings approaching 1,000 acres.
