"Cold Storage, Creamery and Ice Cream Plant of J. B. Jackson Limited. Founded by J. B. Jackson in 1888. Part of the present building was erected in 1900 for the storing of eggs, being one of the first cold storages in Canada of its kind. Later additions included increased storage capacity, creamery, artificial refrigerating equipment, and in 1922 an ice cream plant. The business was incorporated in 1919. The present directors are: W. G. JacksonH. M. JacksonJas. E. Johnson, and Harvey L. Johnson."
