| Leslie Victor Smith "Third son of Dr. and Mrs. A. W. Smith. Born May 24th, 1879. Studied at Central Ontario School of Art, Toronto, 1901-4 and at St. John's Wood Art School, London, England, 1904-1907, where he was awarded the Orchardson Medal (the school's highest award) and other prizes. His pictures have been hung by the Ontario Society of Artists, Montreal Art Association, Canadian National Exhibition and Royal Canadian Academy. Now Art Director at Southam Press, Toronto." |
