"Born in Durham County in 1888.  Attended Osaca public and Port Hope high schools. Seventeen years bank service at Winnipeg, Hamilton, Toronto, London, Peterboro, Montreal and other Ontario points.  Manager for four years at Whitby, Ont.  Manager of Simcoe Branch since July 1923."
