"Born at Simcoe in 1892.  Attended Simcoe public and high schools. With Dept. of Public Works at Ottawa and Ft. William.  Overseas with 58th Batt. 1915.  Joined Royal Air Force, returning 1920.  General broker here 1921-24.  Third year president Norfolk Poultry Association."
