| Lorne Coates "Born in Simcoe in 1872, son of Joseph and Eveline Coates. Lived in Simcoe more than twenty years. Merchant tailor in Toronto for past 30 years. Played baritone in 39th Regt. Band under John Williamson, and later John Sutton. With 48th Highlanders Band for some years. Now resides at Normandale." |
