Jonathan Austin Jonathan Austin
"Born in Woodhouse in 1821.  Grandson of Solomon Austin, the pioneer settler of Woodhouse.  Came to Simcoe when 12 years old.  Apprenticed to Hatch & Farnham, cabinet-makers. In 1849 established a carriage shop. Later started drug business, which he conducted until his death in May 1906."
