From Ruth: Doug was Betty Awde's brother. Doug is deceased.

From Barb: This is Doug Awde, oldest child, only son of
Earl and "Nettie" Awde, and brother of Betty and Barb Awde. The family lived at the corner of the Blue Line and Highway 6 when the children attended Doan's Hollow School.
Doug married Lil Gardner of Manitoba. They had three sons.
Doug was a local electrician and was Fire Chief for many years. They lived in Port Dover. Doug is deceased.
