Samuel Squire (1873-1937) was 1912 Reeve of Waterford. Raised by his aunt
Henrietta Boughner Parney of
Waterford, Samuel was a Waterford merchant, a director of Norfolk
Telephone Company, and was later in civic service. He married three times;
first to Clara, daughter of Oscar McMichael of Waterford, second to her
sister Eda, and third to Martha Jardini. Samuel and his three wives are
buried together in Greenwood Cemetery. Samuel and Clara had a son, Harold.
