We hope
to eventually provide a full biography of each member of the 1912
Norfolk Council. If you can help, please e-mail us your contribution. It
will be added to the appropriate web page for that individual.
The
names of each councillor come from the caption printed on the original
photo's cardboard backing, and/or from the 4 Jan 1912 Simcoe Reformer.
Bios have been compiled from historical data available elsewhere on this
site, and data contributed by site visitors where credited.
Contributing
information is easy. Just email
it to us. Here are a few tips on what to write...
1.
Identify the individual being described by photo number and name --
12-num.
2.
Please do not identify living individuals (grandchildren, etc.) by name
in your contribution without first getting their permission. We
don't want to embarrass anyone.
3. Submit as much or a little as you like. (You can always
revise it later.)
Specifics
(not all will apply):
1. Parents' names?
2. Siblings' names?
2. When and where was he born?
3. When and where did he die?
4. Did he marry? If so, to whom,
when?
5. Did he have kids? Grandkids? (No names please, just a count.)
6. Career, hobby or membership notes of particular interest?
