| George Williamson "Born in Haldimand County, October, 1857. Came to Simcoe, October, 1885. Bought The Bazaar business, Robinson Street, May, 1887. Many years President of Simcoe Board of Trade. Mayor of Simcoe, 1914-15-16-17. Elected each year by acclamation. Became known as the "War Mayor." |
