John M. Stalker "Born in Port Ryerse 1866. Came to Simcoe in 1888 to enter employ of West & Peachey. Later moved to Vancouver, B.C., then to Revelstoke, B.C. Returned to Simcoe in 1904 and built shops of Stalker Engineering Co., Ltd., of which he is President. Reeve of Simcoe 1909-10. Utilities Commission 1924-25." Also see: his father-in-law: John C.
