Lornie was raised by his grandparents, Aaron Beam and Sarah Ann Miller, after his mother died in childbirth and appears living with them age 12, on the 1901 Census. What happened to Lornie? BRASIER/BRAZIER/BRASURE -- Seeking information about John Francis Brasier, born 1789 in Nova Scotia, who married Elizabeth Pegg, 25 Oct 1824 in Simcoe, and their four children, Charles, Sarah Ann, William George, John Franklin, all born at Simcoe between 1820 and 1834. BROUGHTON -- Seeking information about the descendants of Asa Broughton (born 1768) and his wife Mary (born 1788), a daughter of UEL Isaac Horton. Asa and Mary's son John Broughton (born 1824) married Catherine Wiley (born 1821). John and Catherine's son Joseph Nelson Broughton (1867-1940 in Norfolk County) and his wife Bertha A. Beecraft (died 23 Aug 1928 in Norfolk County). I think Joseph and Bertha were buried in Walsh United Cemetery (no stone survives). Also seeking information about Joseph's son William Broughton, born 1 Feb 1898 in Windham Township. William was an Evangelist/Methodist. He married Laura J. Lalonde (1924-1955) in Ottawa. He lived on Windham Street, Simcoe in the 1930s. He left his family and rumor has it he went to Alberta. I would like to find his final resting place to complete this family history.

BUTCHER -- Seeking information about descendants of William Butcher and Mary Ann Hammond, who came from England to Walsingham, Norfolk County, in the early 1800s. Their daughter, Maria (born 1846 in Welland), my great-great grandmother, married Daniel Ferguson of Norfolk. They left the area, but Maria’s siblings stayed: David Butcher (1844-1924), William (1858-1931), Abigail (1854-1951 married Joseph Pierce), and Mary Ann (1851-1927 married Robert Lounsbury).
