| This is student:
Michael (Buddy) Peer Identified by classmate Ron Abbey. From Ron: Michael "Buddy" Peer’s parents owned the Battersby Hotel prior to it‘s demolition. He had an older brother Peter in Simcoe High School in the 47-48 picture. Buddy and family lived in the hotel and I attended a birthday party for him in the dining room of the hotel in 1950. Buddy went to Simcoe High grade 9 in 1950-51 but tragically drowned in Black Creek Port Dover in the summer of 1951. Also see: Michael
