Marion Leask, daughter of James Leask and Jane Sinclair Born: 8 Feb 1823 in Burra Isle, Scotland Married: William Goodlet, about 1849 (age 26) Died: 8 Feb 1906 in Windham Township, Norfolk County (age 83)  Buried: Bethel Cemetery, Windham Township

Their Children: James Goodlett married Roxanna Boughner Mary Jane Goodlet married John H. Boyce

Notes: William's surname was consistently spelled Goodlet in Canada (except for a few double t's). William appeared on the 1851 Census of Windham as a 25 year old married farmer, in the  same home as Ann, a 68 year old widow. According to the Simcoe Reformer, Marion's mother, Mrs. James Leask [recorded as Leisk] died 22 Mar 1872 at their home in Windham Township. Marion stayed on there almost to her death, which occurred at son James' home, next door.
