The third side of this stone (see photo below) reads:
"Jacob son of Daniel & Anne Hazen, U.E. Loyalist Emmigrated
from New Jersey in 1789 Preferring British Rule Landed on the
Niagara Frontier Married in 1832 to Margaret Dau. of Robert &
Alice Standin A Native of Lancashire, England Who emmigrated to
Canada in 1818. The subject of this memorial were much esteemed
amoungst the early settlers of this country."
