From the 21 Sep 1936 Simcoe Reformer:
"Nober wins Townsend Loop -- Waterford errors costly -- six miscues help Greenshirts lose by margin of 14-6 -- playing almost errorless ball behind the pitching of Carpenter, Nober pounded out 11 clean hits, including six doubles, one triple and one homer. Harold Mason made the only curcuit hit of the game and also had a double while Len Mason hit a triple.
