RCAF-UATF 1948-50. Married Sylvia (Sue) Floyd at 
New Glasgow N.S., 9 Jul 1960. Two children, two grandchildren. 
Grad work in Economics/languages in Switzerland, Spain, Germany. Worked for NATO, NRC and External Affairs in 1950s. 
Processed Hungarian refugees: Vienna 1956. 
International Trade Consultant 1965-95. Taught Economics at Fanshawe and UWO 1968-2001. Twice nominated UWO for excellence in undergraduate teaching. Syndicated *columnist 1968-present. Contributing editor, Stratford Beacon Herald, 1968-1988. Library at Frydek-Mistek, Czech Republic named in his honour for work there 1997-99. In 2001 became economic and aviation media analyst for UWO. Published "Comment Dit-On" 1965, Airmont Classics 1968, "Economic Test Bank" 1985, Columnist, Wings Magazine, 2003- present.
