From Raymond: Born 14 Mar 1929. Moved to Simcoe 1937; 
attended North public school; Graduated Simcoe High 1946. 
Worked five years at Jackson’s Wholesale Groceries. Married 
Roy Gurdebeke 1951. Two sons: Tom and Jeff; two grand-
daughters: Megan and Melissa. Grew tobacco at Walsh and 
Jericho, then moved to Port Hope area to grow same crop. 

Divorced and relocated in London 1975. Married John Lothian 
in 1985. Trained as pastry chef at Fanshawe and Geo. Brown 
Colleges. Pastry chef at Church Restaurant, Stratford; London 
Hunt Club; Granite Club, Toronto, 1985-2000. Widowed in 
1995. Retired 2000. Employed since 2000 as Customer 
Service Rep. at Boardwalk Rental Communities, London.
