Lloyd Arthur Leask, born 5 Aug 1926 in Plainfield New Jersey, 
the second child of Lloyd F. Leask and Lillian M. Cape, was a 
life-long resident of Simcoe.

Lloyd married Jean Agnes Miller on 21 Aug 1948 in Simcoe.

Lloyd was a past president of The Simcoe Curling Club, 
past president of the Phoenix Club, a longtime member 
of Norfolk Golf and Country Club, and former member 
of Simcoe Kinsmen Club. 

He was instrumental in chartering the first Ducks Unlimited 
in Canada. An avid boater and past member of the Bluff Club 
and the White Fish Bar Club, he was an avid fisherman and 
duck hunter. He and Jean wintered at Port Charlotte Florida.

Lloyd, 83, died 15 Oct 2009 in Simcoe, predeceased by his 
parents and wife; survived by two children, three 
grandchildren, a sister and brother.
