The groom, Ray Palmer Lawrence, was a son of Sylvester Lawrence who was born in Otterville and raised in Teeterville. Sylvester was the son of William Francis Lawrence and his wife Elizabeth Ann Longstreet of Windham, who are both buried in Bookton Cemetery. 

Sylvester's wife Minta Palmer was Amaminta Palmer, my father's mother. She was a daughter of Waterford jeweler Thomas Ray Palmer and his wife Araminta Woodruff.
