Port Rowan

Miss Catherine Rowe died at the home of her neice, Mrs. Marlatt, in the village, last Friday, at the age of 81 years.

The deceased had made her home with Mrs. Marlatt for a number of years, and came here with her when she moved here from Simcoe about two years ago.

Miss Rowe had been in graduallly declining health for a long time before her death, and required a great amount of care, which was given in a most self-sacrificing manner by her devoted neice.

The funeral was held on Sunday from the home. The Rev. J. M. Smith conducted the services. Burial took place in the Forestville Cemetery.
