Haviland-Pratt

A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized at the Baptist parsonage in Delhi on Tuesday evening, 1 Mar 1921, when Miss Mabel Pratt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Pratt of Courtland, was united in marriage to Wallace Haviland of Delhi.

Only the immediate relatives were present, the register being signed by Miss Mary Sovereign and Mr. Lloyd Turnbull. Rev. Earl G. Dale was the officiating clergyman.

Several of the young folk of the village, with whom the bride and groom are deservedly pouplar, motored to Courtland to shower the young couple with rice and confetti as they left on the evening train for St. Thomas, Detroit and Pontiac.
