Port Dover

Tuesday of last week the remains of Annie Letitia Bourne, widow of the late Rev. J. R. Newell, were brought here from Hamilton for interment in the family plot.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. C. E. Bourne of Jarvis, and was born at Nanticoke 39 years ago.

She is survived by her father, two sisters, Miss Carrie Bourne and Mrs. Wm. Fallis of Jarvis and three brothers, Alfred and Geoffrey of Grimsby, and Harry Bourne of Chicago.

Of her children, John Alexander of Chatham, Charles Tennyson and Miss Geraldine Frances at home, are left to mourn the loss of a loving mother. 

Mrs. Newell was twice a resident of Port Dover, the first time being when she was an earnest, thoughtful and kindly pupil in the local high school., and the second time when she returned to the Port as the wife of the Rector of St. Paul's.
