Port Dover

The "boys" of another generation will regret to learn of the passing away of Dr. John Klemans (Jake) Meyers at Butterfield Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 5 Apr 1921, owing to an attack of pneumonia, in his 57th year.

Dr. Meyers was born in Port Dover and received his education here. In the early eighties he became the proprietor of the largest drug store in Muskegon. 

Subsequently he removed to Grand Rapids, where he married Alice F. Tiffany of that city, who predeceased him some four years ago. Deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. Josephine Meyers, two sons: Morris and Vincent, and one daughter, Mary, all of Grand Rapids.
