Waterford

Mrs. John Maddiford, aged 49 years, though failing the last few years owing to diabetes, was about as usual on Tuesday of last week. She was taken suddenly worse on Wednesday and passed away Friday, 14 Jan 1921.

The deceased was born in Waterford and had lived here all her life. She is survived by a sorrowing husband, one daughter, Mrs. William Littlewood of Hamilton, and five sons, John of St. Thomas, Charles of Buffalo, Alphonso in Pennsylvania, Gordon of Hamilton, and Howard at home. To these the sympathy of the people of Waterford and vicinity is extended.

The late Mrs. Maddiford was an adherent of the Methodist Church and a member of Central Link Rebekah Lodge, No. 96, I.O.O.F.

The funeral took place Monday, 17 Jan 1921 at 2.30 p.m. The services were conducted by Rev. H. Wilkins. Interment took place in Greenwood Cemetery.
