Dominic Karns passes

Dominic Karns, a bachelor, 60 years of age, passed away at his residence on Queen Street, Tuesday of last week.

Colonel I. F. Aiken happened to call at the home of the deceased and upon entering found Mr. Karns unconscious.

Mr. Aiken had seen Karns on the day before, and upon trying the door found it locked. He immediately notified Mr. Schellberg, the owner of the property, and the door was forced.

Drs. Jackson and Toll were called. They concluded that Mr. Karns had suffered a stroke, and at the time gave little hope of his recovery.

After being unconscious for over three days, he passed away.
