Death of Mrs. E. H. Gedye

Mrs. E. H. Gedye, 42 years of age, died last Friday night, after an illness of three weeks. She is survived by a husband and five children, aged 12, 13 and 5 years, and infant twins born in Simcoe.

The funeral was held from her late residence, 132 West Street, at 2.30 o'clock Monday afternoon to Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. D. E Foster assisted by Rev. D. A. Moir, officiated at the house and the grave.

The pallbearers were Messrs. C. E. Innes, Geo. Gibbs, James Doyle, Bruce Waddle, D. S. McKnight and 
Frank E. Cardiff.

Mr. Gedye, who is employed at the Simcoe Cannery, came to Simcoe five years ago from England.
