Items of Local Interest

Mr. Henry Curtis of the Gore of Woodhouse died on Saturday last, after an illness of some weeks duration.

He was in his 71st year and had lived on the farm on which he died for about 10 years.

The funeral took place to St. John's, Woodhouse, on Monday.

Mr. Curtis was a native of Lincolnshire, England, but was for a long time a resident of Russia.

He leaves a widow and three children: 
Captain Vladimir Curtis, and Mrs. D. Robb Tisdale, here, 
and Captain Nicholas Curtis of Edmonton.
