William Chalk dead

William Chalk died Saturday morning at his home in Delhi.

Four weeks ago Mr. Chalk was injured badly while in the woods and since that day he had suffered a great deal of pain.

He was so badly injured that he would no doubt have lost a leg and been otherwise crippled had he lived.

Mr. Chalk came to Delhi last summer and was engaged by the Robert Quance Co. as fireman. He afterwards gave up this job and went to work in the woods.

Deceased gentlemen was unmarried and lived here with his neice, Miss Eva Chalk.

The funeral took place on Tuesday and interment was made in the Delhi Cemetery.
