Port Dover

The annual nomination meeting for candidates to serve 
on the Board of Education was held in the town hall on Wednesday of last week.

Mrs. M. K. Tisdale, Mrs. E. G. Fasken, Dr. A. H. Cook, 
L. B. Ivey, and A. B. Hoover were nominated to fill the vacancies. Mrs. Tisdale withdrew in order that there 
might be an election by acclamation.

Mrs. Fasken has the honor of being the first lady member of the local Board of Education.
