LOCAL ITEMS

The funeral of Amanda Lavinia Young, wife of Mr. John R. Culver, Bloomsburg, took place yesterday [Wed. 22 Nov 1920] afternoon from her late residence to the Bloomsburg Church for service, thence to the Cemetery for interment.

The deceased lady was in her 68th year and had retired the night previous in her usual health. She was found dead in bed Monday morning about 6 o'clock.

BLOOMSBURG

The funeral of Mrs. John R. Culver was attended by a wide circle of relatives and friends. The service in the church was conducted by Rev. Mr. Harris of Waterford. Interment in the Bloomsburg Cemetery.

Those from a distance attending Mrs. Culver's funeral were a sister, Mrs. Frank Becker of Clear Creek; Mrs. Chas. Robinson of St. Thomas; Frank and Tom Culver of Normandale, and A. W. Sterling of Toronto. The floral tokens were numerous and beautiful.
