PORT ROWAN

Mrs. James Pretty was taken suddenly ill while at the picture show last Saturday night.

She was at once taken to Dr. Meek's office, but the Doctor was out of the village.

She was then taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leslie Moffat, on Wolvin Street, but expired a few minutes after arriving, before medical aid could be summoned.

Mrs. Pretty resided with her husband a short distance from the village, and was well known and highly respected by everybody.

She was a daughter of the late John Winkworth, and leaves a family of grown-up sons and daughters to mourn her loss.
William Winkworth of Port Royal is a brother.
