Simcoe Man dies during visit

St. Thomas, Aug. 27 -- William Henry Wilkinson, a resident of Simcoe, died Friday morning while on a visit with his son, Wm. B. Wilkinson, 31 Kairns street, St. Thomas., after a brief illness, aged 74.

Deceased is survived by two sons and one daughter, Mrs. M. C. Durance of New York city, Fred. G. of Erie, Pa., and William H. [sic], city. A brother, Peter E. Wilkinson of Bay City, Mich., who has been absent for about 50 years, unexpectedly called on his brother recently. Mr. Wilkinson was born in Waterford and had been a resident of Simcoe for many years.

The remains were taken to Simcoe on Saturday morning at 5.50 via G.T.R. A memorial service will be held this evening at 8 o'clock by the Rev. P. N. Harding, rector of St. John's church.
