Whittaker-McKnight

A quiet wedding was solemnized at
St. Paul's Church on Tuesday afternoon at
2 o'clock, when Miss Sarah Wray McKnight, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew McKnight, 106 King Street, Simcoe, was united in marriage by the Rev. Peter Nicol, uncle of the bride, to George Edward Whittaker of the Civil Service, Toronto.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a castor brown velour travelling suit, corsage bouquet of sunburst roses, also a magnificent necklace of pearls, the gift of the groom.

The witnesses for the ceremony were Miss Marjorie Boyce McKnight, sister of the bride, and Mr. Ewart Gladstone Whittaker of Tulsa, Okla., brother of the groom. Prof. Jackson presided at the organ and played the wedding music.

Immediately following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Whittaker left for Connestago, a summer resort in Waterloo County, and after a two weeks' trip will take up residence in Toronto.
