A lightly edited page 1 article from the 16 Jun 1910 issue of the Waterford Star newspaper.

Welsh-Bartholomew.

A very quiet but pretty event took place at the beautfful home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bartholomew, on Wednesday, 1 Jun 1910, when the marriage ceremony was solemnized to their daughter, Luella Mildred, to Mr. David Alexander Welsh, B.A.

The nuptial knot was tied by Rev. A. S. Colwell, B.A. of Alma, an old friend and former pastor. The wedding gifts were beautiful. Among them was a very pretty glass fruit set given by the members of her Sunday School class.

After dinner, which was all that could be desired, the young people took the train at Scotland amidst a shower of rice and best wishes for an extended trip up the St. Lawrence.
