Death of Mr. George Watkins

George Watkins  died at his home in this place Monday, after an illness of about 10 weeks with tuberculosis.

While working on Trinity Church last fall, he fell and hurt his shoulder. The bruise did not cause him any inconvenience at first, but gradually developed into an abbess.

An operation was performed and some dead bone removed. This, however, did not relieve him and developed  tuberculosis.

Mr. Watkins came here from Windham over four years ago and has since been a resident. A widow, one son and seven daughters are left to mourn their loss.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
