Wallace-Newlands

A very pretty wedding took place at the residence of David and Mrs. Newlands, 94 Smith ave., Hamilton, on Thursday, 21 Apr 1910 at 4 o'clock p.m., when their youngest daughter, Elizabeth, was united in marriage to Arthur B. Wallace, son of Judson and Mrs. Wallace, one of Hamilton's popular policemen. Rev. J. A. Wilson performed the ceremony in the presence of about 80 guests.

The bride was given away by her father, and was attended by Miss Annie Wallace, sister of the groom, while John Newlands, brother of the bride, acted as best man, and Miss Clara Lieskbe played the wedding march.

The groom's gift to the bride was a pearl necklace, and to the best man a locket, and the bridesmaid a ring.

After the ceremony, the guests sat down to a dainty wedding dinner, after which the happy couple left for Rochester and points east. On their return they will take up their residence at 405 Victoria ave. north.
