MRS. W. Y. WALLACE

The death of Nina Alexandria Ferguson, widow of William Young Wallace, occurred on Thursday at her home, 235 Union Street, following a brief illness, in her 75th year.

Born in Simcoe, Mrs. Wallace had lived here all her life. She was a daughter of the late Alexander Ferguson and Margaret Kerr, her father being agent at the Airline Station here.

Her husband, who predeceased her in 1927, was for many years publisher of The British Canadian and conducted a book store. Mrs. Wallace, who was a member of the Anglican Church, had been very active until recently.

She is survived by one son, William Alexander Wallace of Simcoe, and one brother, Daniel Ferguson of Memphis, Tennessee.

Funeral was conducted from Walsh Funeral Home on Saturday at 3.30 o'clock. Rev. T. B. Holland of Simcoe was in charge of the service. The honorary bearers were E. H. Jackson, D. T. McCall, H. L. Selby, and Dr. Bruce Eaid. The pallbearers were Francis M. Reid, Arthur Kent, Dr. Alan B. Jackson, Douglas Jackson, W. P. MacKay k.c. and R. S. Vance. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
