Obituary

Orvil George Townsend, 15, died 1 Aug 1921 at the home of his father, George Townsend of Hartford. In the early hours of the morning the spirit of our young brother passed quietly out to his Heavenly home.

Everyone was shocked to learn of the death of Orvil Townsend, who passed away on Monday morning of last week. Although he had been ill for a long time, we were all hoping he might recover for a time at any rate.

The whole neighborhood was present at the funeral on Wednesday afternoon. The service was conducted at the house and interment took place in Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.

Much sympathy is felt for the Townsend family in their sad bereavement.
