the 5 Aug 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

Word has been received in town of the death at his home in Picton on Sunday night of Mr. C. G. Todd, from heart failure.

Deceased came to Simcoe about a year ago and was in charge of the wall-paper department in the E. H. Jackson drug store.

During his residency in Simcoe Mr. Todd had been compelled to be off duty owing to ill-heath. For the past two weeks he had been confined to his boarding house.

Upon the advice of his physician he left for Picton last Friday afternoon, where home attention could be paid to him. He arrived on Saturday and died Sunday night.

Deceased was a Q.M.S. of various battalions in France during the world war, a former British reservist, and a South African veteran.

The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon a 3 o'clock.
